WHY HUM II
A humanities school where scholars find their voice.
At HUM II, scholars learn to read the world closely and respond to it. They write every year, starting with a creative writing requirement in 9th and 10th grade. They run hands-on science projects, report for the Knightly News, and perform on our stage. Academic and social-emotional support are part of every day.
Our approach: We create an inclusive and vibrant learning environment where every student can find their place. Scholars apply critical thinking and creativity across their courses and graduate ready to engage the world as global citizens, ready for college, career, and beyond.

PRINCIPAL
MEET THE PRINCIPAL
"Every student deserves the opportunity to choose their path after high school."
At HUM II, we believe every student deserves the opportunity to choose their path after high school, whether that means college, a career, or another opportunity that inspires them. Our close-knit community challenges and supports students as they grow. Every student belongs to an advisory that provides a smaller community within HUM II, where they build strong relationships with peers and adults who know them well. Our goal is to prepare students not only for graduation, but with the confidence, skills, and experiences they need to navigate the world beyond HUM II.
