AMS IV is one of seven United Charter High Schools across New York City. Every campus shares the same commitment: small schools where scholars are known by name and prepared for what comes after graduation. Here, science, technology, engineering, art, and math come together in hands-on projects. Scholars learn by building, discussing, and solving problems as a team.
Our mission: To build a STEAM learning community, grounded in academic and social-emotional support, where every scholar grows into a lifelong learner.

Choosing a high school is a big decision, and it can feel like a lot. AMS IV has been part of the August Martin campus since 2015. We ask scholars to take intellectual risks, and we're right beside them when the work gets hard. We'd love for your family to see it in person, so come take a tour and ask us anything.

From 9th grade on, scholars plan and practice for life after high school.
In the classroom: AP Precalculus · AP Seminar (English) · College Now courses at CUNY York College · SAT and Regents prep.
Beyond the classroom: College visits and work-based learning starting in 9th grade · Upper House Academy for 11th and 12th graders, with internships and job shadowing.
